Pack 14 is chartered by Austin Community of Christ Church. Our scouts attend Barton Hills Elementary, Zilker Elementary, and other schools in south and central Austin. The purpose of Cub Scouts is to build character, teach leadership, serve others, and develop personal fitness – all while having fun in a safe and welcoming environment.
Our Pack is made up of scouts from 1st grade through 5th grade, with multiple dens of 6 – 10 scouts per grade level. Each fall and spring we camp as a Pack, and the whole family is invited to participate. We have four Pack meetings during the year, including the annual Pinewood Derby each February. We march in parades twice per year and have a Pack hiking program to encourage scouts to get outside and hit the trails. We perform regular service activities to give back to the community and to foster citizenship. In all of these activities we live by the Cub Scout motto: Do your best.
